Throughout history, the crown has been the ultimate symbol of power, legitimacy, and legacy. "The Crowns" is a playing card deck that pays tribute to these enduring symbols of authority. Each court card features a monarch or ruler, their crown rendered with care and informed by the rich visual traditions of their respective cultures and empires. This is not a deck about kings and queens in the abstract, but a celebration of the diverse traditions of rule that have defined human history.

The design language of the deck is deliberately restrained. A palette of beige and rustic bronze evokes the feel of aged parchment and antiquities, grounding the deck in a sense of historical weight. The familiar reds, blues, and yellows of a classic playing card remain, providing a subtle connection to tradition.
