Smoke and Mirrors - Mirror Flower

Smoke and Mirrors

Definition:

the obscuring or embellishing of the truth of a situation with misleading or irrelevant information.

Mirror Flower Water Moon 鏡花水月

Definition:

a phrase blend of the terms 鏡中花 (“flower in the mirror”) and 水中月 (“moon in the water”) used to figuratively describe something beautiful but illusory, intangible, and impossible to grasp.

We saw a unique, thematic relationship between both phrases and an opportunity to team up with the legendary Dan and Dave to bring you these mesmerizing decks. This collection bridges these phrases across cultures. So, wow your friends with the Light-up Infinity Mirror Tuckbox, and shimmering card backs. First released at the second Asia Card Convention (ACC 2026) in Guangzhou.

Sleek, bold, and undoubtably elegant, elevated with Room One's signature touch.

I've had these in my rotation for a while now and the handling is buttery straight out of the box, far better than my older decks. The mirror-like finish on the back catches light in a way that makes even a simple fan look magical.

The card back design is genuinely gorgeous in person, way more intricate than photos show. They fan smoothly right out of the box, no break-in needed. Been using them for cardistry and the finish holds up after weeks of daily handling.

The stock feels noticeably stiffer and snappier than my old deck, and it fans out cleanly right out of the box. The mirrored foil on the tuck catches light from every angle without looking gaudy.
