(PREORDER) Voodoo Playing Cards - Half-Brick Set

*NOTE* This item is available for preorder only. All orders including it will be delayed and shipped together in early-September, after we have fulfilled our Kickstarter backer rewards.

Pè Altar Tuck Box

Both Special Edition decks include a magnetic wooden idol that rests atop the Pè, your own miniature altar. Place the idol at the heart of your spread. Let it watch over the cards. Let it hold the space where washed blacks meet ashy whites and the puzzle begins to speak.

Die-cut Threshold Tuck Box

The first card does not hide, it greets you. Our die-cut tuck box reveals it peering gently beyond the veil, beyond the box itself. Before you even open the deck, an invitation has already been extended. Hold the box and feel the threshold give way.

Court Cards

Peer into the washed black and ashy white palette of the court cards, and behold the archetypes, guardians, and witnesses who stand at the threshold. Backed by soft inverse color blocks, each figure is rendered with quiet confidence.

Number Cards

The numbers do not sit cleanly. They appear chipped, carved, weathered by ritual and time. Every pip and numeral has been meticulously redrawn, inspired by chipped wood from altar carvings and weathered stone.

Fully functional 2-way Card Backs

Intricate details echoing the twine, hair, and carved ebony and ivory that is seen in the expression of Afro-Atlantic art. These cards are the perfect way to spice up your game night with a bit of flare.

Clay Gray and Obsidian Black Gilded Edges

The monochromatic gilded edges transform a simple riffle into a study in contrast. Clay gray rests soft and matte, like dried earth or a dusted altar stone. Obsidian black runs glassy and smooth, catching the faintest light like polished volcanic glass.

Solve the Puzzle, Break the Curse

A plague spreads through our community. Cursed by a malicious shaman with forbidden black magicks. The evidence is buried in the cards, amongst the washed blacks and ashy whites. Shine your Anti-faro UV Flashlight and identify the curse ridden. *Anti-faro UV Flashlight is available in the additional bundle above*

*You can brute force the puzzle with Both emi and ori Special Editions alone, but we strongly recommend getting all 4 editions for the best experience.
