Godzilla x Kong Full Set: What to Know Before Ordering

The set is four decks, not one

The Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Playing Cards Full Set bundles four separate decks: a Godzilla Standard Edition, a KONG Standard Edition, a Godzilla Special Edition, and a KONG Special Edition. That matters because you are not choosing between two monsters—you are choosing whether you want both sides of the movie in two different editions.

If you only want one character or one edition, this full set is more than you need. If you want a complete, matched pair that covers both Standard and Special treatments, the bundle is the straightforward way to get there.

What the full set actually includes

• GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE PLAYING CARDS | Full Set: Full Set of GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE PLAYING CARDS SERIES: Godzilla Standard Edition x1, KONG Standard Edition x1, Godzilla Special Edition x1, KONG Special Edition x1. Confirms you receive four decks—two characters across two editions—rather than four copies of one deck.

• GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE PLAYING CARDS | Full Set: Catalog price: USD 78.40, with a catalog comparison price of USD 112.00. Gives you a concrete price anchor to compare against buying the decks individually, if they are sold separately.

Standard vs Special: what the listing settles and what it doesn't

The supplied product record names the editions but does not describe how the Special Edition decks differ from the Standard ones—no finish, foil, card stock, or packaging details are confirmed. That is a real limitation for collectors who buy based on print quality or display value.

Before ordering, ask the seller directly what distinguishes the Special Edition from the Standard Edition, and whether the Special decks are individually numbered or otherwise limited. The listing alone does not answer those questions, and guessing can lead to disappointment.

Buy the full set or assemble it deck by deck?

• Full set: One order covers both characters and both editions. The catalog price is USD 78.40 against a USD 112.00 comparison price, but the listing does not break down per-deck pricing, so confirm the saving is real before treating it as a discount.
• Single decks: Better if you only collect Godzilla or only want KONG. You avoid paying for a character you will not display, but you may miss the Special Edition if it is only offered inside the bundle.
• Two-deck pairs: A Godzilla pair or a KONG pair keeps the character theme tight. The trade-off is that you lose the head-to-head display that makes a Godzilla x Kong set read as a matched collection.

Age, safety, and handling: what is confirmed

The supplied record does not list an age range, safety warnings, or care instructions for these playing cards. That absence is not proof the product lacks them—it means this listing does not give you enough to rely on for a child's gift or for archival storage advice.

If the set is for a younger fan, check the packaging or ask the seller for the manufacturer's stated age range before ordering. For adult collectors, treat the decks as standard playing cards until the seller confirms any special finish that would call for sleeves or a case.

Questions worth asking before you click order

Ask whether the four decks ship in a single collector box or as four separate tuck boxes, since that changes both display and storage. Ask whether the Special Editions include any extras—coins, numbered cards, or art prints—because the supplied record lists only the four decks. And confirm the condition and packaging standard, especially if you plan to keep the set sealed.

These are not reasons to avoid the set. They are the gaps between a four-deck bundle and a collector-grade purchase, and a short message to the seller closes them.
